Who Thought of Sticking a Needle in a Person's Arm?

Only 21 days until we board our plane headed to Uganda Africa. We are still packing up our personal stuff for storage and figuring out what we need to take over to Uganda.

We have 3 bags packed with just home school books!  We each get 2 free bags, so hopefully we can fit a years worth of stuff into our bags!

Have you ever wondered who came up with the brilliant idea to put medicine into a person's body through a needle! I wouldn't say that is the way I day dream, but I am thankful (kind of ) that someone thought of it!

This last week we all went to get some of our needed immunizations before heading over to Uganda. Katelin was the bravest and chose to go first. Sarah was second and Mike was third. I went last and made everyone leave the room. I seriously hate needles, especially after my bout with malaria. Malaria causes your blood to turn thick and like sludge. When I was in the hospital they had to stick me so many times to draw blood and now I am traumatized for life (j/k). In the end, we were all very good patients!

Mike being SILLY!!!!

Our bill...only $1300! Who ever thought being a missionary was inexpensive hasn't really done it before! The miscellaneous costs are adding up, but we are so thankful for the generosity of many people who have been giving towards our missionary support!

We are all getting very excited to go to Uganda! More updates soon.
